Hey guys,

I have found a few threads on here regarding upgrading the front sway bar on a cxi.

Since i have a cxi i have no front sway bar.

I have found out that i will need to change the lower control arms to suit the front sway bar that i choose to run.

The front sway bars are:

1992-1995 Civic Si: 21mm
1992-1995 Civic EX (not sure can someone help out): 21mm
1994-1997 del Sol DOHC: 24mm
1996-2000 Civic EX (not sure can someone help out): 22mm
1996-2000 Civic HX (not sure can someone help out): 22mm
1999-2000 Civic Si (em1): 26mm
1997-2000 Civic Type R: 26mm

I know the EX or HX must be the AUS gli but not sure which.

So i can see that the ek4 and em1 sway front sway bars are different in the USA (ek4 - 21mm, em1 - 26mm) but are they different in AUS?

So my questions are:

Are Gli, ek4, em1 and ek9 lower control arms different?

Is this all i will need to upgrade on my cxi to be able to fit a front sway bar?

Thanks for the help guys.

All you need is the GLi or EK4/9 front lower control arms then you can fit OEM or aftermarket swaybars.

x2 all non usdm front lca's are the same except for cxi

OP u have ur chassis codes mixed up, the ek4 is 96-98 vtir not 92-95 si and comes with a 26mm front swaybar

u cant use a front swaybar from the eg/dc chassis civics n tegs
