for 6k you can pick up a really good eg with low kms, you just need to put some effort in and shop around.

Check the for sale thread on this site.
www.carsales.com.au
www.carsguide.com.au
www.gumtree.com.au
www.tradingpost.com.au

are just a few places for you to start.

Good luck with the search.

not looking hard enough, plenty of egs with b16, my problems r that most r missing something, no air con, too rough, etc.
i settled on an eg with b18c, cant beat that. stretch ur budget and do it right

lsvtec,

We are not here to hold your hand and find one for you, look yourself!

You have the brain to register, you should have the brain to search around, it's honestly not that hard!

My patience for you has depleted.

firstly, it seems like english isnt ur first language, or ur 17 years old
either way, finding a decent car isnt going to happen overnight, it takes research and patience. u need to set clear guidelines in terms of what u want, ur budget, what ur goals and aims r for the car.
dont buy the first one that comes avail.
and it isnt about what can beat what in a race. a fast stripped out civic might not drive well as a daily, and a daily might be too sedate for ur needs.

i suggest u start again and state what ur after.
i knew that my criteria for selecting a civic was boiled down to reliability, fun, somewhat unique and easy to drive, plus i set a budget of what i wanted to spend and what i wanted to spend in the future, so far its all within my criteria
