Mate, just look at the usual stuff.....like the rating, feedbacks......and use paypal!
If you are still not sure, just don't buy it!
Good luck :)

Personally, I'd take some pics and send it. If they are being difficult and you really think you have been wronged, put in a dispute!
I'm not really experienced with the whole Ebay set up....but that should get it started!

i just had some huge issues with Rotary_38
tried to buy some headlights from him and it said 'free postage' on the auction not 'contact seller for postage' but now he is demanding postage
i asked him to refund my money minus the fees that it cost him and he agreed ... stupid thing is that the paypal transaction hasnt gone through yet so the money is still in my bank ... but i cant cancel the transaction arg

i have already taken it out..brought it to the mechanic to fit to my horror one side work but even still connection was so poor and the other didn't..so yeah...waiting for the dude's reply on a exchange/replacement...even questioned me on like how the headlights didn't come with CCFL when the item name clearly said CCFL headlights...srsly waste of time...waste of money...

if the transaction is cancelled there are no fees - dont get conned by that. he will get a final value fee credit through ebay, and paypal refund their fees too

never buy on ebay unless u contact the seller and made an agreement before transferring money.
Usually feed backs on what people say show u he is honest and a good trader. to be sure get his address and his number before making any deal. I deal with ebay and buy heaps of their sh**

o rly ...
i was going to buy them from him on here first but he took like a month to get back to me
thats interesting ... well i wouldnt buy anything from him ... ever
ordered some from USA from the same place i got my foglights ... should be here soon
yeah i was annoyed that the picture had both headlight and amber corner and he had free postage selected even though there IS an option to setup postage as you go
bit silly really

I couldn't write a flat postage rate as it's different to all postcodes and I didn't want to write a flat cost as what if someone from melbourne wanted them ? They would be paying the full flat cost which would be as expensive as sending them to Western Australia.. I don't plan on making money from postage, there was a genuine reason hence why it was clearly stated.
Clearly writes it in the sale that postage is to be paid by the buyer.
I don't see what the problem is ? I could have easily reported you after you changed your mind after I sent you the invoice for the postage, where I stated in the sale, and also spoke with a rep about it saying that it was stated and un-edited during the course of the sale until the end. Though I didn't want to get into a shit fight so that's why I refunded the money.
And you messaged me before hand asking if the ambers were included, which I said they weren't, then you replied saying "that's dodgy" ?
You obviously knew they weren't included, so what's the point of going further with it ?

like i said before ... i really dont care anymore
there IS an option to set postage apon request ... why you used the free postage option is beyond me
and why you are selling this way is also beyond me ... but meh ... just want to get it behind us

If I clearly stated that the buyer must pay for postage, I don't see what the problem is ?
You clearly knew this before bidding, and you obviously tried your luck.
So instead, you went and bought the same thing for $200USD delivered, whereas it would have costed you $203.90AUD delivered (headlamps and ambers) within the same country but you once again, obviously just wanted to try your luck and see if you could use it against me, then failed, than got a refund, then applied negative feedback, and after I reported you to the Ebay defamation team and got the go-ahead in regards to resolving it, you are now willing to remove the negative feedback.
I really don't care about it anymore and have stopped the report, I just want people to know the story from both sides.
Peace.
