I am thinking of putting the DC2R 15" rims on the FD1. I am not a fan of big rims. More to comfort, handling agility and jdm look.

Does anyone know whether the DC2R rims would fit fd1 without any issues such as turning clearance, rubbing, and caliper clearance????

I only know that its 15 x 8, not sure of the offset. Also wat size tyres best suit on this rim for fd1????

Any input would b appreciated. Thank u

someone correct me if im wrong but they are 15x6+50 arent they?

if they are this size im more worried about your caliper clearance

Don't do it.
The rims are too small and the offset is too high.
I don't think it will clear your calipers.
15" is too small. Isn't the stock steelies a 16"?

If you like the 10 spokes look, maybe try the ssr type f

i think the base model fd1 did come with 15" + hubcaps? 195 65 profile rubber i think?

but yeah, agree that 16" should be minimum on these cars to look decent! think the higher specs had 18" option? wicked

They just look wrong. Too small. tyres too high profile. Just wrong looking.

I would say a minimum of a 16" rim but i'd go 17" for a decent look and its not that big...

thanks guys...
appreciate the feedback....

yeah perhaps 15" is too small....

standard one at the moment is steel 15".... the car is lowered... with the steel wheel they dont look that small to me...... i ll post da picture later.....

so better go for 16" or 17"....
i tried big wheels before..... they just don handle as nimble... plus car seems to struggle more with bigger wheels.....

oh.... for dc2r wheels.... i was thinking of adding 20-30mm spacers with wider 215 tyres.....

dont put 215 tires on dc2r wheels (6in wide). It will feel numb, and feedback through the steering wheel will be very ordinary through corners - it will be soft and mushy.
