B18 Gearbox

hey guys, my 3 and 4th gear is starting to crunch today and i dont have money for a new gearbox, anything i can do for the time being to stop it from crunching?

and can i use a b18b gearbox with a b18c1?

all b series transmissions are interchangeable. YS1 casing can take S80 Internals or a hydraulic conversion kit can be used to operate hydraulic transmissions in cable operated models.

try changing the gearbox oil first, use OEM oil
If that doesn't work, try letting half out and pour 1/2 ATF oil.

That may fix the problem, it did in a friend's car
