pioneer 3150 and iphone

i have the pioneer avh p3150 dvd player and the cd iu50v cable but cannot get video to play from the iphone. only can hear the audio. Works fine when browsing, playing audio, can browse video. Has anyone had this problem?

ur not just connecting through AUX are u ??
make sure ur running it though USB.

and what format is the video ur playing

im playing through usb. although its aux as well with the cable (the pioneer cable connects to the iphone port and has aux and usb at other end.
the videos are mp4 converted for iphone thru itunes.

do u have the same setup?

nah mates got bit of a problem to. not ipod but a mp4 player.

Tried converting to AVI or WMV format? worked for him

cannot put avi/wmv on iphone.

just check to see if you have to do a firmware update.. if you can watch the movie on your iphone then it shold be working through the player...
