bov noises

hey guys, im looking at getting a bov and looking at getting the ones that make this kind of noise psssssssssshhhhhhhhhhh-tutututututututututtutu or
psssssssssshhhhhhhhhhh-chi chi chi chi chi chi chi... i had a look on http://www.blowoffvalves.com/?6814f250 and all of them are more short and blunt sounds.. or is it more on the adjustment on the spring in the bov??

If you really want the Tu tu tu... / intermitant sound. Then don't get a bov. During throttle off/butterfly closed, the compressed air goes back through compressor fins in the turbo and it is this that makes the Tu tu tu sound.

Sure you can get a Bov, install it and screw it down hard so it never opens and you get the same tu tu noise out the turbo, but whats the point getting a Bov then?

the whole point of having a blow off valve is to blow off air running back to the throttle if u close the blow off valve the air will run back out of the turbo and that will cause shaft play and f your turbo

cool,just thought u could get a bov that sounded silimar as to the noises of not having a bov ,was just watching fast n furious 4 and liked the sound of the blue r34 and guessing the he would of had a bov..

oh god... go buy an rb30 vl and get a hektic dose pipe. more tu tu tu than anyone can handle!
