Is it possible for a jazz with july 03 build date to be registered only in Feb 04.
In this case would the car be a 03 model or 04 model?
In my opinion the car is a 04 model but on the rego sticker it states 03 jazz.
Can anyone tell me?

it should be considered as 03 model.
The year of model is nothing deal with the REGO date. It's all about the date of build of the vechiel.
your car is still called 03 model if it's built in 03 and u buy it no matter 05' or 06' and register it in 05' 06 it's still a 03 model.

I think the method to defind which year model is looking at the design of the Jazz. Coz' u still can buy a 04 model Jazz in the end of 2003.

Just like the 05 model Jazz, u can buy it now in 2004, and the build date is in 2004.
U won't say a 05 model Jazz is a 04 model because of the build date is in 2004.

Rather save my self a few ks as 2nd hand market providing good saving at the moment. Vti-s 2nd hand are $20,000 on 2nd hand market for a 1 or 2yr old manual model.

Go to your warranty booklet and it will tell you on the first page

but my type R build day is 99 but my rego name it 00I guess the reason is because your car actually build in 1999, but stored it in the dealer's place for few months (Of coure, the time period of storing can't be too long.). And then the first owner of your car (may be u) bought it in 2000, so the dealer will tell the transport department of your state that it build in 2000, that's why the rego showes it is 2000. I know some dealer do that, and i guess it is a common way.
