Hey guys and gals

Got a benen rear tow hook for my hatch (got J's on the sedan so wanted something different)

Anyhow, for the life of me i could not fit it on except for upside down. Not sure how it's supposed to go on, so i'm hoping they just stuffed up when they pressed in the logo and i did install the hook wight way up. Please put up your pics and show me

Still need to get some longer bolts for it

One bolt goes through the loop, not sure about the other if it is in front of the loop (towards the front of the car) or behind the loop, they both don't fit inside the loop
Thanx

youve got it on the wrong part of the loop

you can move it one loop back (towards you) so one screw is just in the tow hook.

you have it upside down lols... flip everything 180 degrees and put it back on. Use the pictures DL001 posted up as a guide =]

Yeah i figured i had it upside down, all the above Cars don't have rear lips on

Guess there is no way of having both the rear hook and a rear lip w/out some major cutting

Might just leave it upside down

i've got a rear lip and it fits mate. have 1 bolt in the tow hook and 1 out towards you and it'll fit.

I messed around with it earlier and got it the right way up. Put the first bolt through the loop and the second one behind the loop (towards the back of the car).
Doesn't seem tho sit flush against the body the right way up as it did the upside down way

Red line is there it's flush up against the body so when you tow it it will transfer the stress to that part as well as the bolts, rather than just the bolts.

But anyways, who honestly buys them for towing purpose as opposed to bling

Gotta get my hardparker points up somehow

Thanx for all the replies
