Im getting this info on behalf of a mate, but he's got a Integra GSI and is getting this set up.

Extractors 4-2-1, H/F cat converter, all the way through a 2.25" exhaust.

does anyone know what rough KW gain he'd get? :?:

8kw ?? Thats quite a lot man.. I doubt you'll really get much gain.. but you will be able to feel the car go smoother and probaly a better top end.. just my 2c...

i had nearly had the same setup but i didnt have headers, I had a CAI instead.

I got 75kws

My Gf's brother had only has 2.25 in exhaust no high flow cat and short ram intake and got 68kw at the wheels.

Both cars we GSI's

... comparing dyno readouts is not a good habit. particularly when the readouts are from different dynos on different days :)

they can give wildly different readouts.

A standard DC2 is rated at 125kw. What does that convert to at the wheel?

when i did my dyno tune it was with bmt and from what i heard its abit tuned down

fark, those reading are pretty low

yeah, it was a ~35 degree day using an APA dyno (http://www.power-analysis.com.au/index.html)

i suppose the readings from this dyno are a bit higher than others as u don't lose power through the wheels as it bolts straight on the hub...

A GSI is 107kw at the fly. So I dont think 75kw is a low reading for a GSI with basic mods. I think it a very realistic figure.

I only gave this as an idea on what he might expect from the mods that were posted in the original post.

Away I have 120kw @ the wheels on my GSI now. :P

WTF??? are you serious??

what have ya done?

btw, isn't 30% power loss from flywheel to treads a bit much :?

any of you guys read the latest speed magazine?

if not then READ IT!!

they have VTEC TUNING GUIDE, finally they did something for Honda :)

i can't remember if they have the exact mods you listed SpiceyTeg but you'll get a basic idea too.

Yep 120kw, helps when you have a little boost. :D

A standard DC2 is rated at 125kw. What does that convert to at the wheel?Roughly 70% drive train loss I've heard.

I mean, 30% drivetrain loss, so .7 x 125 = 87.5
