ash tray?

I accidently drove over my ash tray, does anyone one for a 99 prelude please lOl thank you!

I just wanted to say that I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY disappointed with Honbits!!

I called up and asked them for a ash tray and the guy on the phone said "yea sure come in we have one you can have for $20"
I went in a few weeks later and asked a guy that was there for the ash tray (it was a different guy, kinda older, tubby and real grumpy) and he brought one out for me..

I opened the ash tray (it's the long tube like ones that sit right infront of the shifter) and they must have just sprayed it out with hot water because when I lifted the lid omg I almost puked, hot, stinky steam came out, reaking of stale ciggs and God knows what else, it was putrid! The inside of it was all corroded or something, it looked like someone poured acid in it lOl it was PUTRID!!! I looked at the guy disgusted at what he just handed me and asked him how much he wanted for that and his reply:

"Ohhh that one there is quite expensive, your looking at about $75, they retail for quite alot"

I was like "WTF o.O" The guy on the phone said $20!!?"

He asked who I spoke to and I couldnt recall the guys name so he's like yea $75..

I was soOoo disgusted with him and the stupid ash tray I told him he can keep it coz I wouldnt even take it for free it was so buckled and I told him I'll go elsewhere!

I'm so appalled at that, like are you serious? How can they say $20 over the phone and when I come in jack it up to $75?? Is it because I'm a girl, or being blonde maybe he thinks I'll fall for his theiving shiftyness!? Grr so I went straight to Hanny's Performance and told them what happened lOl.

Peter gave me a card for Hontoys around the corner so I went round there and told them what happened! They couldn't find one for me unfortunantly but just as I was about to leave they told me a Prelude is coming in so come in later. I came back in later in the afternoon and one of the boys there came up to my car holding the ash tray and fitted it in, I asked him how much he wanted for it and he laughed and said "nah you can have it, it's just an ash tray" he was so kind and helpful to me, especailly after that stupid honbits were so shit, I'll never go honbits ever again and if I ever need any parts for my car I'll always be going to Hontoys! :)

From my experience in the industry, a lot of those guys are hard to deal with over the phone. They tell you 'yeah we have it, it'll be 'x' amount' - turns out that they either don't have it in yet, it's the wrong thing or the price changes. Far out.
Best go is to ask up front the first time.

yea true true, it's like they lour you in and when your there they jack up the price because they think since your already there you'll pay that much for it anyway, lOl but seriously if you seen the condition of the ashtray honbits gave me you would of laughed, even harder when they said $75, it was disgusting!
