tyre/wheel question

will 175/65/15 tyres fit on a 6.5" width wheel?
atm they're on 5.5" width but i heard that tyres can be fitted on different widths but cant find the info atm.
im sure it can fit on a 6.0

edit: i heard they fit 5.0 - 6.5
can any1 confirm?

lol how does it work, 1.5" extra is like 3cm extra width the tyre needs to cover ;O or it doesnt ?

it'll give it a stretched look, but don't forget, 3cm's of extra width doesn't mean 3cm's on both sides of the wheel...that's a stretch of 1.5cm on the inside, and 1.5cm on the outside tyre wall
