We'd need to get closeups of the different boxes, but i'd sya it's the front one, and a pipe should extend downward and snake through to take air from somewhere :S

obtw, there is almost zero tuning potential for a city, (mugen city doesn't count)... unless they've made a city type R which i don't know about.

Basically i think you shouldn't waste your money on it, and save for a drop/wheels.

Reasons against doing it:
- Fuel efficiency - Craptastic
- Power gain - minimal - maybe 4-5 horses
- Engine Warranty - Gone
- Insurance - Might get fked if it's installed in t he event of an accident
- Hydrolocking - risk of occurrence.
- I dont think any compaines make any - you'd have to DIY cutting pipes, or DIY destroy ur airbox for an SRI

Reasons for:
- nice sound
- shiny thing in ur engine bay
- Something to brag about (i guess)

Hope that helps....

similar engine to a jazz, just unbolt the airbox get a silicone elbow and connect a pod filter on, cost about 30 bucks total. but dunt go abouts cutting into an stock parts just incase u need to use it again for ie warranty, insurace claim, rar rar arar

i didnt know the fuel efficiency will drop that bad :O
im only looking for subtle sound increase
engine warranty... thats only if u claim sth right :O *makes quick swap back to stock*
insurance - giving them a call first to see the difference (if its a lot might as well just get other stuff)
hydrolocking... ;O not on an SRI right ;o

and what do u mean by cutting/diy destroy airbox :O i thought u just take it off and chuck the intake in LOL GG

some people like to totally mutilate their airboxes and attach pod filters properly (to keep the MAF housing and whatnot)

My airbox has a MAF housing, so wen i took it out and put a whale penis there, it gave me CEL - you'll have the same issue by the looks of things.

i think ur fuel efficiency won't be that bad, but then again, why'd you buy a city in the first place?

engine warranty: yes you can swap it back, but if you had a CAI and hydrolock, theres really nothing you can do..

hahah nah not looking for CAI >_< too much hassle.
how did u get rid of the CEL? seems like a lot of ppl get it :X

i got a city to be different ;D

ps: CEL seems to be a big complaint with CAI's more than SRI

I know you got it to be different but it sux lol :P Even worse than my R18 lol

Got rid of it by resetting the ECU - undo the fuse or DC battery

Lucky you, but 22k could have been a decent S15, a DC2R, maybe a DC5... Too ordinary, huh.

Right, anyway, you could probably go to honda and order a spare airbox - just unclip it, find the part number, and then go order it - don't tell them why.

Then you'll be the No.1 unique honda city in the world.

well if insurance works out ill look at weapon R, injen or k&N but atm only weapon R has a SRI for the L15A :X the rest i cant find.

@curtis: LOL maybe not, malaysia seems to be popping up a modded city every day LOL

no, what he means to say, is that a city is as equally cool as a micra (Y)

ha ha. i dont see why people would want to mod a city for performance. you're still gunna get made by a hyundai accent.

if you want a fast car buy an import. Or build an EG/EK. nobody will see the intake cause its embarrassing to open the bonnet. perhaps do a K swap if you want a fast city.

Ps: i can say this cause i own a city. :-)
