like the question above. accidentally crunched my clutch for carelessness in shifting....grinding noise ....the agony!

hurts me more than it hurts the car..

BUT just wanted to know how bad is it on the clutch/gearbox when it happens?

its bad, but not too bad, just dont ever do it again if u can help it

itll speed up wear a tad, but its not like ure gb is aboout to blow up unless u do it 24/7

i dont think there is much of a problem with honda gb's, i know with my swift the gb was piss weak, 10 or so big crunches at high revs can = end game 2 ure syncros

generally when things go crunch its not too good for the part that goes crunch. Keep it up and you'll need a new gearbox etc

hmm what shift linkage did you use for your swap ?

my modified EG5/EF9 linkage is a few milimeters too short and makes it difficult to speed-shift from 2nd to 3rd.. thus causing a crunch every now n then.. this will be fixed when install the ITR linkage I hope..
