Hail damage repair quotes? or let AAMI do it?

hi guys
got a few dents on my beloved CL9 Euro with the hail over the wkend and AAMI wants me to bring my car in to be assessed. just wondering if anyone knows any good repairer/panel beater around Melbourne inner east area (Balwyn, Hawthorn) so i can get a few quotes!! as i dont want AAMI to send my car to someone dodgy and im left with regrets later. :(

Get 2 quotes.1 has to be a AAMI authorised repairer then go and get it assessed.There are some good AAmi repairers out there.I know a few but am in Sydney.Push for paintless dent removal for obvious reasons.

my car was caught in the melb hailstorm and its screwed... i counted 50 dints on the car.

should take it to the assessment centre asap as they're receiving a tremendous amount of claims so most likely the car will be a write off

i was curious - with this sort of damage , does the roof bold off and replace? or do they cut and weld shit up???

If there are just a few dents, your insurance may recommend that you get it done by a paintless dent removal, which i think is best for minor hail damage on the roof. Mine car copped a total of about 50 dents on all panels. Allianz got a pdr specialist to assess it and was deemed paintlessly removable. Quote was about 4k.

If you make a claim on your policy AAMI guarantees repairs for life. I've found them to be very good.
