Model Run ?

Hi All,

Could anyone tell me how can I find what model run of my odyssey? btw, it's 2009 model. I heard of the model run for odyssey can be either RA1, RA2, RA6, RB1 and RB2, I am confused and what are these code referring to?

If 2009 then your model is RB1 (2004-2009), RB2 is the absolute model in japan, we don't have it here. The previous model is RA6. The current model is RB3. Please refer to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Odyssey

if yrs is 09 Odyssey, can be RB1 or RB3 depends on which month of 09. post a pic of yr Odyssey and we can identify. current model is RB3 and previous model is RB1 in Australia. RB2 and RB4 are referring to AWD version of Odyssey which are not available in AUS.

Alternatively, check your chasis no. It will tell you what's the model code. It should read MRHRB1xxxx (for RB1) or MRHRB3xxxx (for RB3)

I thought they only started selling RB3 on January 2010 and only honda australia employees driving the RB3 on 09?

from memory, Honda Australia did the same on pre-facelift and facelifted model RB1 on 2006. so, 1st half 09 was RB1 and 2nd half was RB3. i may be wrong so a pic will do the trick.

I test drove the RB3 in Oct/Nov 09 so there would be 09 ones and maybe the OP bought the demo model? But I thought officially the RB3 were 09s?

i test drove on Sept/Oct 09 somewhere and remember the salesman saying "its very popular and limited supply, be quick"....."i can trade-in yr 3 years old RB1 for AUD 18k-19k max...bahlabalala....." FUUUUUUUUUU

here is my 09 Odyssey Lux. I believe it's RB3 as I found RB3 as part of the VIN#

very nice RB3 indeed!! already have double din unit and reverse sensor

It's good that it comes with the double din but it makes the rest of the dashboard looks plain, maybe it's just because our version never better than japan version. Also the woodgrain not as much as RB1.
