Is it absolutely necessary to do a wheel alignment after installing new coilovers?

i wouldnt say its necessary, but recommended.

id personally say it depends if you went lower or not.

if you did i would definitely get one.

you should do a wheel allignment after you do anything suspension wise, its not neccessary you can still make the car go straight but you''ll get uneven tyre wear etc so its recommended that you do

Ok thanks guys. And yes i do plan on going a bit lower so i guess ill fork out abit more for a wheel alignment. Thanks.

Make sure you get to the height you want before wheel alignment as the geometry will change with the height of the car!

its not so much if you are lowering it etc, because lowering will affect your camber, and unless you have a camber kit that firgure is static... you cannot change it

but because they have removed/loosenned arms and components you will find they wont sit in the same place... this may affect a number of things one of them being Toe, which affect tyre wear and attitude of the car on the road

get a wheel alignment

for the price of a local Honda centres wheel align at $65 I don't see why you'd skimp and loss potentially $100s in tyres
