hi guys. There's this scrubbing noise that comes every now and then at the right front wheel. Here are the characteristics:

1. It's not constant. Lasts for about 5minutes and goes away for another 10minutes
2. Checked the brake pads/calipers and there were fine
3. Occurs spontaneously. Sometimes I can have a really peaceful drive
4. Running on stock wheels/brakes/calipers/rotors. So i cant understand why that is happening

Someone please enlighten me?

Cheers

Have you checked to see if the plastic inside your wheel arches has come out. Sometimes mines pops out and it scrapes on my wheels and makes a horrible noise.
Its easy enough to just forced back into place.

Check the discs? U might need shaving/machining. Happens when ur brakes heat up to much.

i dont think it's the brake temp becoz sometimes it occurs right after i drive off after cold start.

rotors feel smooth. no grooves or anything.

Just taking a wild guess but did u buy a second hand car?
one thing awesome about second hand cars are the problems that start to pop out of no-where due to quick fixes by the previous owner..

maybe that side has had a light crash and the side patched up which is why ur getting some random noise
