Dc2r Air Con

Hi Guys

Was driving GF home and she was cold so I push across to heat on the console.

Then when heading home I push across back to cold, but made a crack kinda noise and its loose and when turning on A/C it just blow out hot air....

I tried to had a look with the torch all I saw look like nothing has broken but something could be loose. Does anyone know how to solve my problem or give me some instruction how to remove the air con console to check?

could have a hose leak or the a/c motor might be gone aswell.. just get an auto a/c specialist to have a looksie

It sounds more like the temperature lever linking to the HVAC has broken / come off. Remove your glove box and have a look around.

It doesn't sound like the A/C compressor at all.

I found the problem, but it requires me to take of the whole dash off. Its a clip that holds onto this blue cord has came off. Would you guys know where I can find a tutorial to take off the dash on dc2r?

You don't need to take off the dash, you just need to take off the centre console.

try the wire, underneath that connects to it, its on the passenger side, look on my thread on how to change the dc2r carbon fibre panels, it would help :) cheers
