Hi everyone!

I am planning on changing my current stock fog lights on my CL9 into HID Lighting.

What i would like to know is which HIDs would be suitable for replacing the
CL9 fog lights.

I ask this question as when i brought it up with JDM Yard last time i was there, they asked me to find out the size of the current globes / or mounts
(i think thats what they asked me)

Anyway if any of you have made this conversion to a CL9 or know what the specifications are that i need, so that i can purchase the HIDs it you help me a lot!

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question.

The foglights on the CL9 are H11, you can fit H9's in there with a bit of cutting, but H11's is the standard globe size. You'll also need to a find a way to fit the ballasts, probably easiest just to take off the entire bumper.

HIDs run cooler than halogens.

reppp me =] jokes. Just food for thought though, if it's too difficult to install HIDs for your foggies, it's worth just getting normal H9 bulbs and fitting them in the H11 slots:

Is it safe to do so? coz i;ve heard a few people cracking their fog lights cover to to the excess heat produced.

I have been using the Philips Crystal Vision for the past 2 years but so far so good. No problems to report as of yet.
