u sure its a 1.6? just a query, i have never heard of the twin carb coming in a 1.6, in honda that is!!! isnt it te d15b4...the 1.5?

there are some things you can do to the engine to gain 'hp' but if i were you, it would be worth your while going with a good quality suspension setup, maybe a rear strut brace and some things like that. you will be amazed how much you will actually gain (handling) by doing simple things like that!

if you want more horses under your hood, you need to be able to handle it on your car.

thats my opinion...

hope this helps.

Well, the lady who sold me the car told me it is a 1.6. perhaps there's a mistake... i asked the guys who did my exhaust as well, but they are unable to determined that. there's no engine number on the block and now the biggest Q i have is how many cc is my car. cold intake, extractor, custom pipework and a 2.25in muffler has been on. im still looking around for my front and back strut bar... anyone knows where to get it in perth??? im thinking more on how to get more power under my hood.... sigh. the worst thing is i am on a tight budget... i cant fork oout a few grands at a go so i can only do bit by bit....

this link has very good tips on how to modify those carbs. They are very tweakable for surprising HP gains. The Dual Carb setup is not a bad setup to start with, and carbs are no less valid than FI, theyve just been around much longer.

Sorry, but do u mean a turbo??? asked around for a engine swap even though knew i wouldnt have the cash... the mechanic told me to kinda forget it... too much work and too costly... he said it took him 1 mth for the last conversion and he is simply turned off by it.
