hey all,

so im not too good when it comes to the above and im looking to buy some rims for the jazz.
these in particular. so they are 15x8 +25
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2504/4145929221_f5e3cafcac.jpg

so i know ill have trouble fitting them on the car. i dont particularly want to buy camber kits. down the track i have plans for coilovers.

can anybody point me in the right direction to get similar style rims possibly in 15x7 or 15x6.5 for the jazz. ive looked at BBS and others but cant seem to find the perfect size. is there such thing as BBS replicas cos money isnt really flowing freely. something along the lines of these OGs which $780 for a set but still advise me of any rim no matter the price just as long as its the same stye.

thanks in advance,
melvin

it really depends how low your car is...

my car is currently sitting about 1.5-2" lower than standard. when i previously had 15x7 +20 offset wheels they scrubbed the rears a fair bit. i got the rears lipped, slightly pulled out and relocated the rear bumper tab, the wheels didnt rub as much as it did prior those guard modifications, however still rubbed on big bumps.

tyres were 205/45, i think with 195/45 tyres it wouldve helped as well.

what is this for? GD or GE?

GE is abit harder taking lower offset rims...
had + 42 all roudn on GE and its already crubs every where.. needs rollings if goes lower..

got a question regarding wheels guys,
i thought the GE was 4X100?
i tried fitting in 12x1.25 wheel nuts and they dont fit it
tried the 12X1.5 they fit in perfectly
so is the jazz a 4X100 or 4X114.3?

4x100 is PCD

1.5 or 1.25 is wheel stud type

100mm is the Pitch Circle Diameter (PCD) of the stud holes. That means that if you draw a circle that passes through the centre of each hole, it will have a diameter of 100mm.

1.5 (or 1.25) is the pitch of the thread on the studs. 1.5 means that there is 1.5 mm between the crests of the thread. 1.25 is another common thread pitch. If you try to use a nut designed for a different thread pitch to the stud it will not go on.

PCD affects what wheels you can use. Thread pitch affects what wheel nuts you can use.

im running the OG Sans on my Jazz, looks sweet, but you will need some guard work in the rears. I got king springs and the scrub going through large dips and such.
