Man -- Think about things hey. Logically.

Launching a car places large stress on items such as gearbox, clutch Axles etc etc ...

Engine wise, well, no it isn't "good" for it like changing the oil is, or installing new rings.

It stresses parts same as any other operation of the vehicle. All it does is allow a more consistent launch RPM each time.

Short periods of time is fine. It might sound cool doing it, but sitting on the launch limiter for extended periods of time does stress your motor.

Did you stop and ask the people on the street, or in the other cars, how it sounded while they were wagging their pinkies at you?

My. God.

I seriously wonder what goes through some peoples brains -- If anything.

How old are you, 12?

I mean, its called Launch Control not ****ing "Fat Sound Control".. Use it for launching and launching only -- And even then, its still a work around for someone who can't control his/her vehicle manually which due to different traction in nearly every scenario is the best way to do it..

Flame throwers, Launch "Fat Sound" Control --- what next.

If you don't get it by now --- Well, I don't know.

The people you are asking advice from are more in the club-racer community than the "looks good" or "sounds fat" clan.. Therefore, expect flac when you start asking non-performance related questions about items that are clearly there to increase performance, not noise or supposed sex appeal.

i.e. which blowoff valves sounds best and gets the chicks rather than which holds boost most accurately or is most efficient / whatever..

Sorry --- its been a long day.

Ok -- Well then. No it shouldn't WRECK it, but its not good for it. Limit its use.

you've now got your answer... no, it wont wreck your motor if you do what it's intended to do... not act like a tool at traffic lights...

Launch control is intended for use at the track... i suggest you take your car there to get your kicks...

thanks
