yeh and theyre actually not connected to the exhaust. the real exhaust is shortened and pointed downwards. that way the tips remain clean. bloody genius. very original as opposed to going fart canon

yes. the prelude base side skirts will fit. the length is perfect just as long as you have mud guards. i just need to create brackets on the top of the side skirts so i can screw them on.

the base rear lip will also fit with some trimming. im cutting the rear lip into two pieces and then screwing them on.

hey defcon, can you describe how to paint the chrome door sills again? Thanks heaps!

its simple. just mask the entire car, clean the chrome with rubbing alcohol and just buy flat black spray paint. i bought mine at a local autozone. i did 2 layers of flat black. took me about an hour to do it.

you can wrap it in vinyl but be prepared to spend 4-5 hours.

its not done yet. i can post pictures of the prelude side skirts and rear lip unmounted so you get an idea of what im working with. i have mud guards on mine and it fits well with the prelude side skirts.

you cannot put mud guards and the TSX lip kit on at the same time.

spray can

i was going to do the door handles but the paint will come off faster. id probably have to use clear coat afterwards so it wont peel off as fast

from the dark pics the Lexus tips look the goods, but what is in between the tips? It looks empty.. I cant tell? Are the sides sitting up against the bumper but the insides have nothing against them? if you know what I mean.

And you need to get rid of the front gill makes the car look down syndrome.

just bought a new lip. its a 02-04 RSX Type R replica made of polyurethane
this was the actual shape that i was trying to achieve.
i figured it would be easier to just modify an existing front lip and just cut it up in certain areas and just extend it using fiberglass.

when i get more time i can tackle this. this will be a lot easier and less sanding involved.

painted my eye lids and lower part of the grill. it has some clear coat on it but i still need to wetsand, polish and buff it to get that shiny look

i used an 11oz aerosol spray can with the color code

1 layer of primer
2 layers of base
3 layers of clear
