Back Up Keys for Civic

Hi guys, just wondering how much does it cost to get a replacement key for the Honda ( need to make a back-up just in case i lost the last keys).

Best way is to grab a phone book,start ringing locally and tell them what U want.I found a place that does it near me for $80.

He said it will work.Dunno about the whole 'there's a chip in the key,you have to buy one from honda,will cost $200' thing.

well if u want to make a black key, you need the red key? and it costs fcking shit loads.

but yeh, its just u gotta do the code thats in the key

from memory it was 300-400 a key from honda

it sucks we have lazer cut keys with chips in them.

Not to hijack the thread, but on key, Getting my civic next weekend, and is the key a flip style? if not can we order them

non flip key and not an optional extra from honda

gotta go aftermarket if you want flip key
