Urgent Help!!!

Hi guys,

was driving around today, and my dash flickers, turns off, on, etc.. And then there was smoke coming out from behind the steering wheel. So i parked and turned it off.

History:
- Management light been on for yonks (faulty EGR if i recall)
- week ago car would not turn on ie faulty/fiddly key barrel thingy
- yesterday 4WS came on
- today drama!!!

Not sure whether its the EXTRA humid conditions in Melbourne, but smoke comign out, and a burning smell?

Guys need some help. Any suggestions?

Is it burning smell or like electicty smell. If you get what im trying to get out. Sounds like you got a fautly line some where and its short circuiting.

Iv seen it before where the Ignition switch smokes cos its worn, the contacts arnt quite touching causing heat build up and then plastic starts to melt. this is why your car wouldnt start that time also. its just getting worse

have it looked at ASAP

where can i take it? i mean, i can't even start it now without keeping my finger on the ignition between A/C and start.
