GD -> GE springs identical?

im in the process of purchasing a set of springs for my GE, just wanted to confirm that the two shapes GD and GE share the same spring design?

REAR yes Front NO

rear suspension is similar or swap able but GD is slightly higher then GE

front is different

so front springs will not fit? ive found information mentioned the strut design isnt identical for the fronts, however also mentioning the spring are the same, but noone has actaully confirmed...

I guess an easy way to confirm would be to look at maybe a king springs catalogue and if the part numbers are identical for both cars, then u have your answer.

i had a coilovers
not springs

and my coilovers are for GD not for GE

to fit this the front hole on the fork (coilover) need to be drilled bigger to fit the GE bolt.
rear does sit fine but it sits higher

According to the latest King springs catalogue the springs are the same for the year 2002 onwards.
