Interior light wire

Ok so im trying to do this on my car http://ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=122120 but i am having no luck finding a wire that will give me 12v when a door is opened. I tried downloading a concerto manual but it didnt have any wiring diagrams, so can anyone tell me what wire i need and where i can find it?

I have workshop electrical info plus supplements for 91, 93, and 94.

Here's what I've found:

This is the door switch. It's universal on most Hondas. When the door opens the dome light will come on (if its in the "ON" position)

The door switch has constant power until the door opens and breaks the circuit. But I'd use the courtesy light circuit as that is doing the same thing you want to do with these strips.

So the courtesy light circuit is telling us that the No.12 fuse is the source of the power supply, and the light is earthed by the door switch. Opening the door breaks the circuit and turns the courtesy light on (as well as the dome light (if it is in the "ON" position.) You could power your strips from the wire on the No.12 fuse.
