Apexi exhaust / Xforce headers on my dc2

Hey everyone,
Iv got an apexi exhaust and xforce headers on my dc2, they came with the car and after a year and abit i just think its getting abit annoying,

I have no idea what model it is, however i'v been told i cant get a silencer for it.
The options im aware i have are
1) Weld a silencer on (Cant they just make a removable one?)
- professionally of course
2) Buy a normal exhaust system
3) Go deaf

What i want to know is, how much diffrence does a silencer make? I'd like it 2-3 times quieter.

I'v also seen second hand exhaust systems sell for around the $100 mark on ozhonda... are good condition ones really that cheap?

Im also aware that putting a silencer on increases the backforce to the engine, can i damage the car in any way by getting a silencer welded on?

Putting the silencer on doesn't damage your car. It makes it weaker obviously. Don't weld a silencer on, that's just a waste. What if you want to sell it?

sell the axle back and just get a more quiet axle back. A twinloop maybe

That is actually the right way up :P
How much would it cost to buy a new axle back ?
and how much could i sell the old one for roughly ?

PS. Is it also possible to get a removable silencer made?

just found some universial silencers for the Apexi brand, excluding 1 or 2 :/
