cannon or dual-oval muffler

hey guys i got given 2 mufflers, a cannon and a dual oval muffler.. which one should i chuck on my civic for fun and the time being... i am plannin to put a full exhaust eventually.. but just for now.. which one?

The cannon will be louder. Oval's generally have a nicer sound but it all depends on the actual muffler - e.g. a low quality oval vs a quality cannon, etc.

All up to you though... Do the old exhaust trick - While installing, just hold the muffler up to the rest of your exhaust and squeeze a towel over it to seal it and get someone to rev it. Choose which one you like then install.

lol yeah i hate fkn dual tips. but luckily.. its actually a single tip! my mate brought over the mufflers tday.. the oval is actual single tip.. so im gonna choose the oval muffler over the cannon =D thanks! will upload pics wen the muffler is on.

That muffler aint bad at all. Pretty good buy or free item from your mate. Nice presentable chrome tip on it too.

hey guys, sorry no pics of the civic with a muffler tip! went to the exhaust.. the muffler cant b fitted. it wont line up with the original piping. lol. so yeah im gonna buy my own muffler. thanks for all your opinions and interest.

don't worry bout the original piping then. probably work out cheaper to get a custom cat-back put on with ur own muffler then buy a whole new muffler.
