my d15b is auto, it came with LSD, thats cause its imported. just wondering, if i took it off, would it be easy to put on a single spinner d-series engine with manual tranny?

cheers

It's a JDM VTi? There'll be no problems with swapping the tranny.

Also the LSD was an option, so it'd be worth double checking to see if it actually has the LSD.

yeah its a jdm VTi, very lucky to get this passed down by my old man too bad its auto.

after alot of talking sh1t, lot of talking like i know everything, b16 this b18 that, ive decided that i shouldnt pursue those dreams for a few years because my finance issent ready to support my dream projects. so i may just get a manual VTi sedan instead. only thing those are single spinners, i hear lsd is good, was just wondering to slap it on the manual one.

my other more prefered option is to just convert this one to a manual, but i hear that is costly and not worth it. in my case, what do you reckon? will it be more worth while than buying a whole new eg sedan?

i rather drive a manual d15b vtec, but i dont got one, d16 vtec in eg's arent any better than d15b anyway

EDIT: i meant d15b vtec looks better on paper than a d16

not sure how much a manual conversion will cost mate.
alot of the ''tranny swap'' ive heard go up to 2k... i dont love my d15b that much to keep it how it is atm. but the underdog factor is awesome

I think only Type Rs had helical LSD, the rest came with some viscous sh.t..

And if you're in Sydney and want a D15 (Carby Manual Box but I think they're all the same - I have one and you can have it for free..plus shift linkage + Drive shaft, just come and dismantle this yourself (engine is already outside the car), and give me a beer while you're at it)

except for the BB6 Prelude ATTS which had Active Torque Transfer System (ATTS) instead of LSD
