FN2 Differences?

I was wondering what are the changes to the CTR fn2 from 07/08 models to 09/10 models.

Only minor exterior bits, like the grille as far as i know..

Championship White and LSD

Nah the grill is exactly the same.
Only differences are you can get Championship white, LSD, reverse sensors, footwell lights and I also think that the 90/10 have tyre deflation warning systems

As Above, Minor stuff, Led rear stop light, refreshed front grille and front bumpers, some new colours, different alloys on sport, side airbags standard on 09 Vti, and Curtian standard on My10 Vti....thats about it

Well it depends, if you want to go to track then might as well get one with LSD but if you have no intentions of going to track then you probably don't need LSD for daily use

But get one, then there will be more FN2s in Perth :thumbsup:

My '07 model has a standard ipod lead but it was an option and not USB. Navigating tracks is easy with the radio controls but you save playlists as "Honda1" etc. Not sure how you would use the USB for MP3 playback without track selection?
I think the current one also has a little cubby hole for the ipod?? Mine has to sit in the space under the radio. I use it as a G-meter. If I accellerate too much the ipod flys out! No door option available in Aus.

The front grill is a different colour on the Championship White fn2. Its black instead of a dark grey, only for the 2010 models. I don't know about anything else though....

i know this is a bit off topic but there's NO LED tail lights on the latest FDs
it's just normal light bulbs with well design reflections

Yeah Phil, you can still get cw type r's I just ordered mine and traded in my 07 Black FN2 for it.

Yeah got $28000, had very low km and this was my third Honda from the same dealer. First was my s2000 then the first FN2 and now a brand new 2010 cw FN2 with side illuminated door sills ordered from UK and every other accessory ticked. (Australia no longer supplies them due to low sales). Funny thing is the sills are still in the brochure.

How much did they quote you for the new car? and was there long waiting times for delivery? dont see many CW fn2s on the street...

$48000 on road, had to wait 1 month because i wanted a my10 model. The car is beautiful and the rear view auto dimming mirror is great too. Heaps of people stop and ask about the car, I love it.

Probably a good question for pree but did they change the suspension settings from the MY07 to MY09. Probably in my head but the suspension settings feel more comfortable in the MY09.

Yeah Jase it feels more comfortable for sure, but it may be just the new tires (Fresh rubber and more tread). When I tracked my old 07 FN2 I felt the rubber get harder and less grippy as the tires aged. But I definitely think the suspension setting is changed somewhat slightly.

How much did the stripes cost? i might be interested if they are not too expensive. Ive recently purchased a fn2 about 3 months ago after owning an accord euro, wouldnt definately want to meet up and get know more fn2 owners! PM me if ur interested :)

Yeah, unfortunately it is not available in the 07 – 08 models. I personally would install an after market auto dimming with a rear view camera mirror if I had the older model.

auto dimming mirrors will dim when headlights hit them
kinda like sunglasses

the purpose of it is so that the driver does not get blinded by lights from cars/trucks/buses etc behind them
