I have a Vtir Integra B18C turbo'd. Today I was driving my car and i drove around doing my usual business and as I came home I noticed a nice line on the road of drops of oil which continued into my driveway.

I opened the bonnet to see I have leak coming from my turbo. To be specific, the braided oil line joins a connector (Think thats the word) which gets screwed into the turbo (between the 2 compressor housings). The oil is leaking from the top of the turbo from this connection.

I thought firstly it might be loose so I tried to tighten it by hand and couldn't do it.

Anyways does anyone have an idea on how to fix it??

I know this is dumb but any idea could help me

Thanks

usually the thread on the braided lines are tapered.
You may have the right thread but it might not be the tapered version and will leak even when tight.

Usually you can take the oil stud from the turbo and take the line fitting to a shop to get the right fitting.

In the meantime you could use teflon tape to stop it from leaking, but its not the best option

I doubt teflon tape would last long near the exhaust housing of the turbo unfortunately.

Show a pic of your braided line and where its leaking from, there's a few different combos that can be used..

dont let it really bad if you lose oil pressure to the turbo you risk the turbo failing
