Buying a 93 Del Sol

So, I'm going to buy a 93 Dex Sol (CRX), hopefully with-in the next week.

Google'd for a honda forums and found this place.

Are there any draw backs to the del sol, except for obviously only 2 seats.

How do they face up against other honda's around that time?

depends on what your looking for
for speed there not the best but they got a targa top which is hot

Would they be as fast as say a 93 civic?

the eg civic are a little less than a tone mate. as where the del sol are like 1100ish. really all comes down to budget

it would be quicker than a 93 civic but since the sol has a b16a but it wouldnt be by much especially if its a si, iv herd of some si's put the del sol on show and iv seen a gen 2 crx beat a del sol too

the gen 2 crx si's are a nice car, theres a crx si-r currently on carsales

The Del Sol looks so much better though IMO. So so much better

it gives u the feeling of convertible with ONLY the back window down,
which will not blow yr head away like the other convertibles.
frankly i bought mine but never turned the a/c on lol

they are a good car to drive.. 2 downsides though... 1. weak chassis caused by the targa top.. 2. water seepage thru the roof seals when its raining heavily but seals can be replaced for a arm and a leg.. and squeaks from the roof while driving...
