Lost a front lip

Hey guys,

Had a funny accident today on the m5, I was doing about 120 in the overtaking lane to get around a truck and i hear a very loud hard object flying under my car bouncing off the road and smacking the underside of my car, I look in my rear view mirror only to see my lip flying down the road behind me lol

Well basically I wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else haha?

never happend, but i remember awhile ago, driving my bros 200sx, ran over something, flinged up smacking the rear bumper, cracking it.... woulda cost well over $600 to repair :eek: but ended up sourcing a 2nd hand rear bumper

It was mounted fine, could tug and kick the thing all you like and it wouldnt budge no matter what, im thinking it might have been caught on something on the road maybe lol, oh well time for a change anyway

how exactly was urs mounted? Doesnt sound like it was mounted fine....

even replica parts dont come off like this. if it really was securely mounted it wouldnthave come off like that

That is exactly what happened to me :D

I thought I ran over a black piece of plastic but was thinking,I didn't see a black piece of plastic lol

Got to where I was going and saw my lip missing and was like,AH,that's what it was :p

That was a while ago...got a new Type R lip,lasted a year b4 I hit a cat at 100km/h:

That second lip the mugen lip is the one that i had on my car, btw nice looking car I like the mesh on the bumper :D

That's got nothing to do with a front lip flying off.

That's due to improper installation and poor mounting.
