Eg steering noise

On my EG3 when i turn the steering wheel i hear some kind of scraping noise.
not a very pleasant noise.
could it be my power steering fluid running low or anything?
hit me with ideas please. kind of worried.

if its a clicking or cracking noise it would probably be the cv joints. if its a scraping noise when u full lock then ur tires probably rubbing ur guards or something along those lines.

you think so? it could be that, OP what wheels do you have? and what profiles?

i experience some of that sometime when i go nuts on a corner, but then my windows are down and half of it is the wheels scraping on the road, and the other half is my understeer, my car issent great on sharp corners anymore.

well its not the tires that is making the noise. its coming from my steering wheel. =="
when i even remotely turn it to a 90 degree position it wont be as smooth anymore. anyone know? :(

so ive been told the problem is that my steering rack boots split in half and i have to replace it.

any ideas how?
