hey guys just want to find out the difference between exedy heavy duty and exedy sports organic clutch kits....

what the difference?
whats better for street use?
anyone used it before?

sorry for the load of questions, just made a bad decision last time round with my clutch change, i have used a exedy heady duty clutch before and it was pretty gud, now im thinking of getting a sports organic clutch just want to know the difference in drive and capacity of the pressure plate etc.

thanks guys

the difference is in the clutch plate
One is sports organic and the other one is heavy duty non sports organic.
Same pressure plate on both of them

so what would be a better option? is the sports organic also a heavy duty? being organic does that mean it has longer life? or smoother gear engagement?

sorry to ask alot of questions yonas but i want to be spot on this time with the clutch change!

This is a reply i got from Adrian from Toda, when i asked him the same question.

"Hi Andy,

The SO clutch is a better clutch than the HD.

The HD clutch is a standard clutch with a heavier spring for increased clamp load only.

The SO clutch is the same, but has a sports disc included also which has greater strength & durability.

For drivability, the clutches are pretty much the same…

When abused (eg: drag racing) the SO clutch is much better & more durable.

My recommendation is SO clutch kit + Lightweight flywheel."
