looking at buying an eg

hey guys, new here,
just been looking at an red eg si civic with 230 000 kms on it
its very tidy, rekons its had a respray,
all in all tidy car,
how much should i be paying

my thinking is,
18 year old car, means little over 10000kms a year,

The average Australian drives about 14k KMs per year, so it may have done a little over average on the dash but the D16A8 is a nice tough engine. I really prefer it to basically every other D-series engine.

What is the owner asking for?
Has it been modified?
Why was it re-sprayed, maybe accident repairs?

If it's a very clean example then it might be worth anywhere between $5000-6000 +/- IMO.

just coz it has kays on it doesnt mean its shit.

coulda been serviced every 5 thou kms religiously its life.

or it might have 70 thou on it and never been serviced.
