Hi guys

I've been looking around for an alarm system for my car. Im with just cars, so insurance says that i need a 2 point australian standards alarm system.

I've been to a couple of places around melbourne. My heart is set on a viper alarm system, cos ive heard awesome things about them and the remotes do look great...hehe (im superficial)

Anyway, does anyone know much about getting a 2 point immobiliser with all black wiring that is australian standards approved?

Ive been told by varying sources that

- no viper alarms are australian standards approved
- viper 650xv is aus approved
- viper 500 esp is aus approved
- viper 700 esp is the only aus approved viper alarm

So what is going on guys?...any one had experience with viper alarms?, or in the same predicament as me?

Cheers

matt
