Sounds alright, though you might have some scrubbing on the inner guards and you'll probably need to have your guards rolled too.

Does anyone know for sure?

Just gave you your answer, I ran 18x8 +42 wheels and on full-lock turns you'll scrub your inner guards.

And you'll need your guards rolled depending on how low your car is.

with 18" wheels, yes you will rub the inner guards... also i had mine lowered with king super lows (3.5inch drop) but that didnt worry me, what worried me is that the inner side of the front tyres had massive wearing... think i drove 5000km and the tyres in the inner side was like worst than bold and you can see the wires in the tyres... now thats a bad loss and also 18" tyres are just too much.... you can possbily fix this by getting a camber kit.

I think yours just had really bad offset, mine scrubbed only on full lock and wasn't even that bad.

Car above is on super low kings with stock shocks, always got even wear and was all fine since guards were rolled.

Thanks for the advise, will purchase the wheels this weekend.
It'll be sitting on Apexi N1 coilovers so will set it high until i can get the guards rolled.

and super lows arent meant to drop 3.5"

thats what ultra lows are meant to drop, and mine didnt drop my car 3.5"
