ebay turbo kits for dc2.

hey guys.
just wanting to know anyone that got an ebay kit for a dc2.
or even a friend who is running one.
i know you pay for what you get.
but i seen a couple kits around the $1k mark.
they dont look half bad.
i know the rev hard, greddy an turbonetics kits are pretty good.
but yeah just looking at some other ones with the t3/t4 turbo.

yeah i went over a couple of them, never found someone that really had one and was specific to what exact kit it was and the issues they might of had. but i took away usually the piping and coolers arent to bad. its mainly the turbo and manifold that people were saying would be s***.

people use that kit to start off their turbo journey, its much easier and cheaper then peicing together part by part for someone who's knew to the scene. as thing tend to go in the ebay kit later down the track like manifold and turbo, u can replace it with the more genuine stuff that will last longer.

kind of annoying when people want to mod a car, and expect it to be cheap. if you dont have enough money to do it right, dont do it at all. do it properly, and you wont regret it.

why go turbo when your going to skimp on quality?

seriously... there is no cheap alternative to modifying, its expensive. just save and do it once. it will be cheaper in the long run.

you CAN get a good kit on ebay, but it would most probably be a second hand and you really need to know what you're looking for.

Most no name kits would see failure very soon after install, even on a stock engine. However you can get lucky.

Best advise is that you should research what you need/want and then try to find the right parts where ever you can.

find a nice kit, start with that. and mod from there.
i like to think that once you are turbo there is so much more you can do.
manifold, exhaust, cooler, etc
