removing plastic strips on bumper

Just wondering whats the go with removing the black strips on the front and rear bumpers. Are they just stuck on or will there be a groove underneith them.

I remembered clearly that there's no groove under the rubber. But just be extra careful when pulling them out. You might pull the paint off as well. Use a heater gun and alcohol while pulling them out.

In all seriousness cymax is right. Heat them well though. Cleaning the glue off after will be a bit annoying...

On another note, my friend had a faded red EG and when we took the strips off you could see where the strips were lol
