B16a idle playing up

my mates eg4 with b16 conversion has a problem were the idle likes to go up and down by itself, i remember on another mates h22a prelude it did the same thing when he put a bigger intake manifold, is this an easy fix any help?

try cleaning the throttle body and the idle/stepper motor.
It helps but i didn't fix mine entirely

Disconnect the stepper motor.
If the idle stops being erratic you found the problem. Its within your idle control components.
If its still erratic. Its mechanical. Ie. Vacuum leak.
