Focal 11" Subwoofer in Odyssey

I just half finished building the custom Sub Box in my Odyssey,

its going to be all FOCAL,

Focal 165A1 Front splits / Focal Amplifier Solid 4 / Focal 27V2 11" subwoofer

hows the bass response in that?? the enclosure looks a little small...but i guess auto subs are made to produce high spl in small spaces. looks good :thumbsup:

this FOCAL 27V2 can fit in .5 cuft,

and mine its .75cuft with 10% of dacron and Focal Plainchant,

so the bass response its very Nice

Dan, you need fiberglass otherwise you wont have enough volume even only 8" woofer, the space is just too limited

we just bought a 2000 model EK9 in Japan, and its ETA 15 Apr

then after that Toyota Veillfire coming too, ETA in Aug

and ATM I'm enjoying Cherry Blossom in Japan

Yeah, I know, oldish thread but this is exactly what I plan on doing when we pick our Odyssey. I just needed a few pics to show my partner. I have a back ground in car audio and will be swapping out my current ten inch subs for a new carbon fibre Alpine Type X or Morel Supremo 12".
Will be my first attempt at fibre glass as well.

Good job mate. Well done.
