it should go off when u pull off the negative terminal. u should have a little key when u got ur car to turn off the alarm. the alarm will be a black box somewhere under ur hood with a key hole on it.

if its a stock alarm it shouldnt go off when u pull out the battery but if its an aftermarket one it most likely will. just pull the negative terminal off if it goes off when u put it back on it will stop anyway so no harm in trying.

mate, has this been resolved. If you're a noob like me. Take it to the professionals. I have clarion cz509A installed by Xtreme car audio in blacktown. Speak to the owner Ray. He'll look after you. Tell him Don(white ek sedan) recommended you.

i've only been there once & that was on tuesday. Speak to the owner,he's not always there though.
had a pretty good deal with the units i bought + installation. I rang a few car audio places & he was thus far the cheapest.
just my 2 cents.lol
