Noob Question about Coilovers.

I recently bought a used set of buddyclub racing spec dampers. I put it on the softest setting and i put my whole body weight to try compress the coilover but it doesnt compress at all. The spring rates are 10kg.

All im asking is if this is normal or not?

Wait the coilovers not installed?? Your just pushing down on the shock??

Man my jic's are 12kg front 6kg rears, if i stand on my doorsill and jump up and down i'd get less then 1-2cms of movement.... car more shakes left to right. And thats with the weight of a 950kg car on them

remember dude these things go on a car and each have 250-300kg pushing down on them. your measly (by comparison) 75kg aint gonna do too much ;)

Theoretically the springs will take 10kg to push the spring down 1 mm.
Then you have damper stiffness aswell.

It's perfectly normal.
