Hi to all the members of ozhonda, especially euro owners here. I have gained a lot of knowledge and insight in this car that I have, and would like to thank everyone that has fed input into this forum to make it work. Here are just a few pics to show the current state of my car. I hope to help other owners here achieve their perfect euro, although my knowledge of this car is still limited.

thanks dude! is your car as low as that?? i was pressing down on the suspension...its pretty soft...only a bit harder than stock. But i've pressed on some cars with tein ss and theres no give...my car still rocks when i push it down.... and maybe cos its pretty low....the ride is quite firm.....not as comfortable as i thought it would be...

yeah mate alot lower! sits 60mm off the ground!
theres about 5mm thread left before minimum height.

ill be lifting it up just a little when im back in perth and get a chance to put my 18's on, about two weeks away.

you can adjust the stiffness by cranking away on the nut at the top of the strut. mine is pretty firm but not like tein's.
i drive mine daily so the pro gf is best suited on perth's shitty roads

what area you in??

Damn thats lower. I've got one finger gap at the moment and I maybe wanna jack it up a LITTLE bit. Do you have issues with the front plastic flaps scraping the ground when u go up ramps/speedbumps?? or have u removed it???

Im in East Perth by the way.

Nice!!! I live on adelaide tce.....and I can't lower it anymore even if I want to, cos even if I have one passenger, I will scrape lightly on the front bumper when going down my incline.....so sad.

Hey

nice one i have the same suspension.

what some one quoted you can adjust the stiffness by playing with the top nut?

how does it change stiffness of the spring? does it shorten the length of spring or pre-loads it more?

can you please shed some light?

also did you have to lower the left side of the car more then the right side to get the car level ?

cheers
Jon

neborama : thanks, yes I am currently using ingalls camber kit in the rear, but it is still tucked inside the wheel arch, dont have a flush setting.

Jonno5454 : From what I've heard, these coilovers are only height adjustable and not damper adjustable. I have emailed tanabe before, and they have told me that the ride gets harsher as you lower the car. My ride is pretty bumpy at the moment, because I've only got about 4-5mm before the grooves end (lowest setting). Im not sure about lowering the left then the right, as I don't have the tools to install it, and I'm a bit worried about fitting such an important component in the car myself!!!

Hope I helped you out with your question.
