Hi Guys,

As i didn't get free Matt with my car and the dealer is asking me 200 plus for the matt i decided to purchase a euro matt cheap and fit by myself when i get the car. The cheap i got so far is 145 at trivett parts department at rydalmere...

Is it hard to fit/install the matt in Cu2 for both front passenger and drive side. I know there is a plastic bolt/twist to lock the matt. Is that easy to do that?

ANyone can please put some picture of Matt lock in CU2 Euro..

Thanks.

I can't imagine it being that difficult..the CL9 mat takes about an entire 5 seconds to remove/fit

Yeah there's nothing difficult about it.

1. Place matts in.
2. Turn locks
3. ...
4. Profit???

If the bolt/ twist is there then you just to put the mat then twist it.

If not, place your new carpet in place and see if it fits perfecetly. the holes in the carpet will the the position where you have to screw the bolt in. If you need any pics, im happy to provide one and measurements.

Does the CU2 come standard with the bolt already screwed in? The CL9 came with the hooks as standard even if you bought it without mats.

"Apparently" no and you gotta cut the carpet to make a opening for the lock.

Hi guys, i know it seems easy job, but the guy said 250 for the floor matt fitted(same guy tried to sell me paint protection)said need a special tool to put in. I look one of the car in the showroom has a plastic twisted bolt in both passenger and driver side. You know what if just cut the matt trim and slide or hook it i can do it simply within 5mins..But when that guy said special tool(what else special tool, is it a special honda spanner lol). Seriously they are asking $80 for labor to fit the matt..

They are asking same $80 to fit the rear dugtail spoiler as well, which is reasonable, but for floor matt..thats why i just wanted to confirm from you guys its simple to do it...

I think the question should be whether the Accord Euro comes with the hooks already installed if you purchase the car without the mats or already installed on all models. It is very easy to fit the mats in, however the hooks if not installed could be a different story.

I know you're just being sarcastic - it's already been made (http://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/AI/BII41531.pdf). Hope OP finds it useful.
