View Full Version : Fitting Type R bootlid into Type S
I've done a few searches but found no threads on this... but has anyone tried to fit a Type R bootlid + wing onto a Type S?
Is it a straight swap/fit?
And for reference, how much did/would it all cost?
why would you want to? if its just for the type r wing, you can swap that over without needing to swap the whole bootlid

Check
Clubrsx.com lots of diy over there for boot lid and wing conversion
I wanted to swap the bootlid to avoid filling up the holes left behind by the Type S wing/lip on the boot.
But on that matter, is it possible to weld it up good to avoid water seeping through?
@burak, kk will do now. Thanks for the heads up.

wing/bootlid attachment (http://forums.clubrsx.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=312320&d=1222206873)
Here is an installation on the boot lid and wing for a A-spec RSX from the usa - link is from clubrsx.
Should give you a general idea.
