Hi Guys,
I need some advice.. I've got d2 coilovers in my s2000 and I want to adjust the damper settings as it's currently set too hard. By the way, i'm from Australia if that makes a difference.
The damper adjustment stick on the rear left has broken and i need to replace it, however i can't get to it because the fuel pipes etc are in the way and can't pull the broken stick straight out...
Here's what the d2's look like.. it's the thing in the middle which says H L which is broken off..

and as you can see from this pic (this is not my car).. there's a pipe blocking it..

The easiest way i thought would be to undo the bolt that holds the pipe and than replace the damper adjustment stick, however a friend of mine told me that it's not good to fiddle with the pipe and undo the bolt..
can someone assist and confirm whether i'm able to undo the bolt or not?
